Improving Learning, Engaging Students and Changing the Collaborative Culture of a School Through the Learning Commons

Abstract

Teacher-librarian Nevin finds himself leading and collaborating not only in the library but, as the vision of the learning commons unfolds and prospers in his school, in classrooms, throughout the school and in technological and virtual environments. Many practical examples are described in this lively documentation of a burgeoning learning commons circa 2010.
