Abstract
This study using the Ontario School Library Association (OSLA) Forest of Reading program “Blue Spruce” books in conjunction with technology such as Twitter, aimed at increasing student engagement in reading in two primary schools. Methods, results, and recommendations outlined demonstrate that “the learning commons can nurture good reading habits among students” (Koechlin et al. 2010).
