The Creation of the Edgewood Experiential Lab and Learning Commons for the 21st-Century Learner
Abstract
Previously published in Teacher Librarian: The Journal for School Library Professionals 39 (4): 14-21. In this article the authors share the major physical (with photographs) and pedagogical changes that occurred in a K-8 school in the Toronto District School Board, including the transformation of library to learning commons. Positive effects on learning and teaching are highlighted.
