Coming Together for Learning: A Journey of Transformation and Success
Abstract
This paper is an inspiring account of how elementary teacher-librarians in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board came together through a district project for learning and revitalizing school libraries using five themes from Ontario research at the time – “Recognizing the Need for Change, Creating a Teacher-Librarian Professional Learning Community, Transforming School Library Programming, Reflection and Implications for Practice, and Moving Forward by Embracing the Vision”.
